Kobe Heffner discusses his experience with Thirty3 Capital, and the positive impact is has had on his Georgia company, Soil Solutions Company, Inc., a business that runs big trucks and belt trailers to haul different fertilizers and ash.

What challenges were you facing before working with Thirty3 Capital?
“I’d always try to go through local banks or other lenders, and definitely had a harder time getting loans and being able to actually afford the equipment I needed.”

What makes Thirty3 Capital different than previous lenders?
“Once we started talking (with Luke at Thirty3 Capital), everything was honestly just a breeze, and he’s super helpful. It’s just different because it’s like you have somebody on your team. And they’re actually trying to find a way to help you grow and help your business be successful.

(They’re) more flexible, and willing to find a way to make it work—they have different term options and everything like that—I mean, they’re just basically willing to find a way to make it work for you.

The biggest thing is just working with people who are like-minded, and are on your team and want to see you succeed.”

How would you describe the application process?
“Oh, that’s basically fairly simple. I send over all my financials, and Luke’s communication is great. He just tells me what he needs, I get it over to him, and he handles it from there.”

Did having a fast approval process impact your business?
“Fast approvals are everything because when you have a business opportunity come up, you can’t wait around for trailers, or wait for approval. So working with Luke and Thirty3 Capital, it fast tracked everything—it helped me get the business, essentially And in comparison to other lenders, you’re going back and forth and it’s just a losing battle. You’re always fighting to try to try to get things done versus having somebody on your team... it’s nice to feel like your lender is part of your team.”

How confident are you now when planning future equipment purchases?
“I essentially don’t hesitate to say yes to new business opportunities. I basically say ‘yes’, knowing that I have somebody I can count on to figure out how to get it done. They not only know how to help get loans done, but they also know how to set up the best loan structure for my needs.”
